I live in London and help organisations apply behavioural science and nudges.
Some live areas of interest:
- Mass production nudging - how do we get to from dozens to thousands of nudges per government?
- The rise of large language models and their implications for organisations
- Bloom's 2 sigma problem in education, and the potential of large language model-powered tutoring to solve it
- Moral psychology and ethical development, particularly online. I explored these questions on our 'CODE' research programme with the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation.
- Organisational psychology, great groups and principles of effective action
- Crime prevention and complacency. Modern technology makes large categories of crime - vehicle theft, mobile phone theft - eliminable, but we settle for very high yearly rates. Can we change this?
